SPIRAX Self-Acting Control System

Control Valves

Main Feature:
- Sizes up to 12”
- Operating pressures up to PN40/ANSI 600
- Body:  Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, SG Iron, Cast Iron

Type:
- Self-acting temperature control.
- Self-acting pressure control.
- Piston actuated.
- Ball valves.
- Globe valves.

Electric Actuators

Two-port valves manufactured in a wide choice of materials for pressures up to 300 psig and having connections in sizes up to 4".
The actuators are suitable for HVAC or industrial process applications and are available with VMD, mV or mA input signals.

Pneumatic Actuators

Two-port control valves manufactured in a wide choice of materials for pressures up to 300 psig and having connections in sizes up to 8".
Pneumatic actuators are low profile to NAMUR standard, spring-to-open or spring-to-close, and incorporate a fully rolling diaphragm. A hand wheel option is available

Positioners

To complement the range of pneumatically actuated control valves, pneumatic and electropneumatic positioners will allow small actuators to
close against higher differential pressures, eliminate hysteresis and improve accuracy and positioning
time.

Desuperheaters

Desuperheaters precisely reduce the temperature of superheated steam to increase process efficiency and recover waste and residual heat. Turn Down ratio 100:1.

Type:
- Variable Orifice
- Tube bundle
- Water bath /spray
- Axial injection spray
- Multiple nozzle axial injection

Direct operated PRV

A compact direct acting pressure reducing valve designed for use with steam, compressed air and other gases and benefits from having all 316 stainless steel wetted parts.
Well designed steam systems produce clean dry steam for delivery at high pressure - the best quality steam at the lowest cost.

Pilot operated PRV

Well designed steam systems produce clean dry steam for delivery at high pressure - the best quality steam at the lowest cost. Lower pressure steam is usually needed at the point of use.
Effective control demands an automatic valve that can reduce steam pressure accurately, reliably and at a cost to suit the application.

Safety Valves

Safety valves are essential wherever a hazardous overpressure situation could occur.

Safeguard against:
- Mechanical damage to equipment and surroundings.
- Loss of product and production.
- Damage to the environment.
- Injury and loss of life.
