SPIRAX Energy Saving Solution

Heat Pipe Exchanger

A carrier fluid is vacuum sealed in a container pipe. The carrier fluid evaporates in the area of the pipe in contact with a hot instrument and
condenses in the area of the pipe in contact with a cold instrument.
The evaporation / condensation heat is continuously transferred from the hot
instrument to the cold instrument by natural circulation of the carrier fluid in the pipe.

Turflow Heat Exchangers

- The straight corrugated tube design induces optimum turbulent flow conditions, enabling a considerable increase in heat transfer efficiency.
- Gasket-free high quality stainless steel shell & tube construction guarantees longevity.
- Straight corrugated tubes allow for easy mechanical or chemical cleaning.

Exhaust Vapour Condenser

EVC is based on the Turflow heat exchanger with an additional connection and utilizes flash steam from discharge and exhaust vent pipework to
pre-heat make-up or process water thereby recovering valuable heat energy that would otherwise be lost to atmosphere.

Thermocompressors

Steam Jet Thermocompressor uses high pressure steam to entrain low pressure steam and discharges at a pressure that lies somewhere between the two pressures.
High pressure motive steam enters and passes through the nozzle and enters the suction chamber where it is brought in contact with the low pressure steam.
This steam mixture then enters the diffuser where its kinetic energy is converted to pressure energy. The steam discharged is then put back into the process.

Steam Injectors

Steam injectors use steam to raise the temperature of water or other liquids. They work by using a jet of steam to draw in the liquid through radial ports,
mix it, and distribute the heated liquid throughout the tank or vessel.
