to the open position, whilst steam causes it to close immediately. The traps in the DK series are simple in construction featuring a small,
compact body and are low in cost.

GESTRA VKP10 Steam Trap Testing

The VAPOPHONE is used to detect steam leakage in steam systems in order to prevent live steam loss. Live steam leakage is
detected by sound in the ultrasonic range caused by flowing steam. The mechanical ultrasonic vibrations are detected by the sound probe
of the VAPOPHONE and converted into electric signals which are amplified in the measuring instrument and indicated on a meter.
