IntelliTrace Control Panels

Chromalox® IntelliTrace™ microprocessor-based panels offer comprehensive control, monitoring,
and power management for demanding industrial heat trace applications. Available in ambient or
line-sensing models for both ordinary and Class I, Division 2 areas, the modular design scales from
6 to 72 loops with a 40A capacity and 100–600 Vac service.

Advanced features include a 10-inch touch-screen, PID or manual SCR control, soft-start, and
sensor mapping. The system provides extensive data logging and alarms for temperature, current,
and ground fault leakage. Housed in NEMA 4 or 4X enclosures with UL/cUL approvals, these panels
simplify configuration while minimizing costs by allowing users to select only required features.

             
         

WeatherTrace Control Panels

Chromalox WeatherTrace™ (FPAS/FPLS) panels provide reliable control for industrial freeze
protection and snow melting. Available in ambient or line-sensing models, they feature NEMA 4
enclosures, thermal magnetic breakers with 30 mA ground fault protection, and manual override switches.

For enhanced reliability, the Sentinal Monitoring (FPASM/FPLSM) versions continually track supply
voltage and ground fault conditions, triggering detailed alarms for specific faulted zones. All models are
UL/cUL approved and offer customizable options like stainless steel enclosures, main disconnects, and
pressurization systems for specialized environments.

             
         

Digital Heat Trace Controller, 1 and 2 Circuit

The Chromalox® IntelliTrace™ ITC1/ITC2 is a compact, microprocessor-based controller for single or
dual-circuit heat trace management. Designed for both ordinary and Class I, Division 2 hazardous locations,
it supports various cable types for freeze protection and process temperature control. The unit features
a high-resolution color TFT display, capacitive touch switches, and dedicated LED indicators for real-time
status monitoring.

DTS-HAZ Heat Trace Digital Thermostat

The DTS-HAZ digital thermostat is a microprocessor-based temperature controller and power connection
for freeze protection or process temperature maintenance of pipes or tanks protected by heat tracing products.
This thermostat can be used with constant-wattage, mineral-insulated, or self-regulating heating cables in
ordinary or Division 2 and IECEx/ATEX Zone Il hazardous area locations.

Heat Trace Control Skids

Chromalox heat trace control skids integrate IntelliTrace™ and WeatherTrace™ panels with power
distribution panels and transformers on a steel frame to provide a plug-and-play solution for heat trace
system control. Custom configurations with many options for footprint and included equipment are
available. Engineering support includes custom configuration, layout drawings, detail drawings,
panel schedules, and custom programming. Field support includes installation, startup, commissioning,
and programming.
